Cognitive Skills Training
One on one
Each student works one on one with his / her therapist/trainer for one hour. In this way, every student has the opportunity to be closely evaluated and trained with a lot of immediate feedback and positive reinforcement.
Startling
There is a quick transition between exercises during the session. The student can never anticipate which exercise will come next because the flow of the exercises change at arapid speed in each session.
Pushes Limits
The session content is based on cognitive skill exercises with increasing levels of difficulty, and the exercises push the student to their own limit by keeping the student at his/her own peak performance at all times.
Non-academic
The aim of the training is not to teach knowledge but to strengthen the underlying cognitive skills needed to process information. Thus, the exercises and games are not academic like reading writing or solving math problems.
Dynamic and Fun
The pulse of the session is always upbeat. The program content has been enriched with box games that work different cognitive skills one after the other. It can never be boring!
Personalized
The sessions are designed according to the level of the student at each session.
Provides Immediate Feedback
The work is performed one-to-one. Errors are corrected instantly, and there is always lots of positive reinforcement as well!

Comments from our volunteers
I think that both of the students I trained improved in cognitive, social and emotional areas. With one student, I focused more on dealing with failure, and the other, I focused more on cognitive skills. I saw positive developments in both students.
I saw that the student I worked with started to focus more easily and continue to work without giving up longer.
One-on-one sessions enabled the students to see themselves as valuable and thus they gained self-confidence. When the student is taken care of one-on-one basis, he / she can meet the needs in any development area. That's why I think we made a multi-faceted impact and difference.
Throughout the Cognitive Skills Training Project, I observed that the students developed on many different areas. I observed that impulse controls have improved in the cognitive field, and that communication skills have improved during the sessions.
With each session, students' self-confidence increased. They felt they are valuable and important and that they can succeed if/when they persist. Communication skills also developed as they learned how to cooperate with their friends.
I saw the biggest development in the students social and communication skills. The students who started out anxious shy and timid opened up and relaxed in time.
My students focusing and concentration skills improved the most. I also observed that they could more easily control their impulses over time.
I saw that the students who had difficulty in some exercises performed better as the sessions progressed. The training benefited the students not only cognitively but also emotionally. Having one-on-one sessions with a volunteer had positive transformative effects.
I observed that students' socialization and adaptation skills improved in particular.
